Yes it really is cake.. and is super easy to make.. You just get everything as normal, your cake mix, eggs, and such. After the batter is mixed you must then separate the batter into portions (number of portions depends on amount of colors you want to have) I had six. You then add different colors of food coloring to each portion of batter. So you now have (6) portions of various colored batters. You then take one of your colors and pour it in the center of your round cake pan, then the next color directly on top of that... and so on. Make sure to pour just in the center. The batter will spread out itself and creates this lovely rainbow'ness! For this one... I made two pan cakes and alternated the colors and once cooked.. smacked them together. Let me know if this totally doesn't makes and sense!
